About the Position

Must-Have: - Previous charge experience preferred. - Travel experience preferred. - Experience with Epic charting system required. Description: The position requires a Registered Nurse specializing in Medical-Surgical nursing. This is a night shift position working 3x12-hour shifts. The nurse will care for patients ranging from young adults to geriatric individuals. Care includes monitoring and interventions for medical and surgical patients. Patients may also have neurological or neurosurgical diagnoses. The unit is equipped with telemetry and oximetry monitoring. The nurse will have a patient ratio of 1:6. Interdisciplinary support includes Physical Therapy, Respiratory Services, and Social Services. The focus is on evidence-based, patient-centered care. Responsibilities include assessment, recovery, and prevention of secondary complications. Nurses should be skilled in blood product administration, IV maintenance, and telemetry monitoring. Continued education and adherence to safety protocols are expected.
