Receptionist

Front Desk Receptionist LaSalle Network is hiring for a Front Desk Receptionist with one of the largest nonprofit organizations in the Chicago area. As the first point of contact for visitors, clients, and community members, the Front Desk Receptionist will play an important role in creating a welcoming experience while supporting daily office operations. This position offers exposure to a mission-driven organization dedicated to serving individuals and families throughout the Chicagoland area. Responsibilities: Answer and transfer incoming phone calls using a multi-line phone system Greet visitors and direct them to the appropriate department Provide professional and courteous customer service to callers and guests Monitor traffic entering and leaving the facility Receive, sign for, and distribute deliveries and packages Learn organizational programs and services to assist visitors effectively Maintain a professional, organized, and welcoming reception area Support administrative and office-related tasks as needed Assist with special projects and team initiatives Qualifications: Previous receptionist, front desk, administrative, customer service, or office support experience preferred Strong communication and interpersonal skills Comfortable managing a high volume of phone calls and inquiries Professional, friendly, and dependable demeanor Strong organizational skills and attention to detail Ability to multitask and remain composed in a busy environment Proficiency with Microsoft Office and standard office technology preferred Passion for serving others and supporting a mission-driven organization Position Details: Work Model: 100% Onsite Employment Type: Project-to-Hire Compensation: $18 per hour Schedule: Monday-Friday | 8:30 AM-4:30 PM Location: Matteson, IL Benefits (Contract): LaSalle Network consultants are eligible to enroll in medical, dental, and vision benefits.
