Assistant Professor-in-Residence, Psychology (Children’s Mental Health)

Assistant Professor‑in‑Residence, Psychology The Department of Psychology at the University of Nevada, Las Vegas invites applications for a full‑time, 9‑month, non‑tenure‑track teaching faculty member (Assistant Professor in Residence) to begin Fall2026. The primary responsibility is the development and instruction of undergraduate courses in children’s mental health and the candidate will also teach foundational and upper‑division courses, including a capstone course. Career advancement is available with evidence of ongoing professional development and service contributions. Responsibilities Develop and teach undergraduate courses in children’s mental health and other psychology courses. Deliver foundational, upper‑division, and capstone courses. Support an inclusive learning environment and foster diversity, equity, and inclusion among faculty, staff, and students. Collaborate with a program coordinator for assessment and quality control of courses. Qualifications Ph.D. in Psychology or closely related discipline from an accredited institution; ABD candidates considered. Substantial teaching experience, including online teaching. Commitment to undergraduate education. Ability to work collaboratively with faculty and program staff. Authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship.
