Industry Hospital & Health Care Type Privately Held About the Role The Company is in search of a VP of Engineering and AI to serve as an executive leader, with a primary focus on leveraging data, analytics, and AI to enhance patient outcomes and drive business growth. The successful candidate will be responsible for defining and executing the enterprise data and AI strategy, leading the development and deployment of AI-enabled clinical and data platforms, and ensuring that these solutions align with the company's mission and growth objectives. This role requires a multidisciplinary approach, leading teams in data science, analytics, and software engineering, and collaborating with various stakeholders to deliver solutions that benefit patients, clinicians, and the business as a whole. Applicants for the VP of Engineering and AI position at the company should have a degree in a relevant field, with an advanced degree preferred, and at least 12 years of applied experience in healthcare operations, health insurance, data analytics, data science, and/or software/platform development. A minimum of 6 years in a senior leadership role managing technical teams is also required. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background, including experience with SQL, Python, BigQuery, and modern data/analytics tooling, as well as a proven track record in platform architecture and the delivery of production data and/or AI-enabled software platforms. Leadership skills, the ability to drive organizational change, and a focus on performance improvement are essential, as is the ability to balance innovation with business needs and team capacity.
