This role is primarily remote, allowing for flexible scheduling and the ability to create a work-life balance that suits your needs. Although the position offers the convenience of working from home, you will remain closely connected with our Outpatient Office team. Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct individual therapy sessions, as well as family and group therapy, either in-home or at our outpatient center, ensuring a safe, supportive, and non-judgmental atmosphere for all participants.

• Implement therapeutic strategies to address anger management, promote coping skills, enhance social skills, and mitigate high-risk behaviors, such as self-injurious behavior and physical aggression.
\n
• Provide guidance and support to improve decision-making abilities among youth and their caretakers, effectively addressing and managing behavioral challenges in home settings.
\n
• Collaborate constantly with multidisciplinary teams, including the Child Family Treatment Team, to create comprehensive care plans that support the growth and development of youth and family units.
\n
• Document all therapy sessions accurately and in a timely manner, including intake assessments, treatment plans, and progress notes, ensuring adherence to regulatory and organizational standards.
\n
• Participate in monthly team meetings to share insights, strategies, and contribute recommendations based on your ongoing assessment of client needs.
\n

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

This role involves working with a diverse clientele, including children, adolescents, and families facing various mental health challenges. By addressing issues through a relational and systemic lens, you will help nurture positive changes and resilience within the family structure, ultimately aiming for improved mental health outcomes for all clients.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s degree in Counseling, Marriage and Family Therapy, or a related field is required.
\n
• An active and unrestricted LMFT license is mandatory.
\n
• Availability to work a minimum of 5-10 hours per week during after-school hours, typically from 4 PM to 7 PM.
\n
• Proven experience in providing positive behavior support in clinical settings is essential.
\n
• A valid driver's license and a registered vehicle are necessary for travel to client homes when applicable.
\n
• Successful completion of a criminal background check, including fingerprinting, will be required.
\n

Preferred Experience\n

While a minimum of two years of relevant clinical experience is necessary, candidates with experience in community mental health settings or those familiar with evidence-based practices will be particularly advantageous. Familiarity with creative therapeutic modalities, such as play therapy or art therapy, can enhance the therapeutic experience provided to clients.
