Travel Sonographer / Ultrasound Tech needed in Burlington, Vermont. This is a travel - temporary assignment starting on 10/08/2026 for a 4-week contract at a large trauma level 1 facility with two on-campus sites. Expect a 8-hour day shift (5x8) with weekly pay ranging from $3,065 to $3,097. Responsibilities
- Perform OB/GYN ultrasound exams, including routine OB scans, fetal anatomy surveys, follow-up OB imaging, BPP, umbilical artery and MCA Dopplers, and first-trimester assessments.
- Conduct GYN and early dating OB scans and, when appropriate, include procedures such as sonohysterography and HyCoSy.
- Support Maternal-Fetal Medicine workflows, with the ability to scan in GYN and/or MFM settings as needed; twins count as two scans in a half-day when applicable.
- Document findings in the EMR (EPIC) within the past 2 years and communicate results clearly to ordering physicians and care teams.
- Maintain high standards for image quality, patient safety, and patient comfort; manage patient flow, typically seeing up to eight patients per day (adjusting for twins, etc.).
- Maintain all equipment and ensure proper infection control practices; comply with hospital policies and safety guidelines.
- Collaborate with cross-disciplinary teams and participate in on-site orientations as scheduled.

Requirements
- ARDMS registered with OB/GYN credential
- Prior travel experience required
- Minimum 2 years of sonography experience
- Large teaching hospital experience preferred
- Proficiency in OB/GYN imaging, including fetal anatomy scans (routine and detailed), follow-up OB, BPP, UMB and MCA Dopplers, 1st trimester, pelvic scanning, sonohysterography, and HyCoSy
- EPIC experience within the past 2 years is required
- BLS certification
- Ultrasound Tech Certification Verification or Equivalency
- Ability to work in OB/GYN/MFM settings and manage patient load per assignment guidelines
- Gaps in employment greater than 90 days should be explained in the submission
- Reliable transportation required; public transportation is not accessible in the area
