Job TitleJob DescriptionResponsibilitiesStaff supervisionSupervise Accounts Payable TeamDirect, train, and evaluate accounts payable accounting personnelAccounts Payable FunctionEnsure external and internal inquiries and questions are researched and resolvedManage TimberScan (Electronic Invoice routing system) workflows and system administrationSupervise vendor management and complianceManage annual 1099 preparation and reportingGenerate check runs ensuring disbursements are processed in accordance with accounting practices and company policiesManage corporate credit cards by supervising AP teamManage escheat filing and remittance annually by supervising AP teamEnsure accurate and timely payment of franchise and income tax payments for entitiesManage weekly non-system check review and funding processAdministrative ResponsibilitiesManage front desk coverage, filing and file storage for accounting departmentOversee various other administrative responsibilities as necessaryQualificationsBachelor's Degree in Accounting preferredMinimum of five years of accounts payable experience with preference for construction job cost experienceSupervisory experience preferred1099 filing experienceSales and use tax knowledge and experienceSage 300CRE / Timberline experience preferredGood working knowledge of MS Office softwareStrong analytical and problem-solving skillsStrong interpersonal skillsProfessional demeanor
