North Molding Mold Tech - B Shift

Becton Dickinson seeks a Mold Technician for B Shift at its Columbus facility to operate injection molding equipment, maintain production quality, and perform equipment maintenance in a medical device manufacturing environment.
Responsibilities
- Operate and restart molding presses according to validated parameters
- Perform periodic part inspections and troubleshoot molding equipment defects
- Set and pull molds, assist with auxiliary equipment setup and minor repairs
- Complete production documentation for traceability and quality control compliance
- Coordinate with quality control, lead technicians, and maintenance on process improvements
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED
- Proficient mechanical ability and troubleshooting skills
- Ability to maintain detailed documentation and communication
- Previous injection molding experience preferred
- Knowledge of scientific molding techniques preferred
- Proficiency in independent thinking and teamwork
