Structural Steel Superintendent

Yonkers Contracting Company, Inc. is seeking a qualified structural steel superintendent with a minimum of 10 years of relevant experience. Responsibilities Manage and supervise ironworker crews during erection or demolition of structural steel operations for projects in New York, New Jersey, and Connecticut Verify quality of structural steel workmanship with drawings and specifications Coordinate with fabricators to ensure timely and correct delivery of material to site Maintain up to date knowledge of contract specifications and scopes of work Ensure each operation is compliant with contract drawings and specifications Qualifications Knowledge of local union work rules Attention to detail, ability to read, review and correct shop and erection drawings OSHA 10 and/or OSHA 30 Strong communication, time management, and organizational skills Ability to manage multiple tasks and work independently Proven ability to collaborate and function effectively as part of a team Compensation Medical and dental insurance 401(k) Student loan reimbursement and/or tuition reimbursement Vehicle stipend, toll reimbursement, gas card Yearly bonus About Yonkers Contracting Company, Inc.
