Location: Remote Jacksonville, FL or Rockford, IL

Schedule: Monday-Friday 8AM-5PM ET

Salary range: $18-$21/hour depending upon experience

What work will you perform?

In this role you will be responsible for facilitating the timely and accurate payment of international carrier and vendor invoices. You will conduct research to resolve discrepancies and reconcile carrier statements. Your ability to communicate effectively via email, including responding to payment inquiries, will contribute to your success in this role. Candidates with a high attention to detail and the ability to deliver accurate information consistently should apply.

Essential Responsibilities:

• Timely, accurate audit and payment of carrier and vendor invoices.
• Communicate with agents, carriers, and other outside parties regarding payment inquiries and discrepancies.
• Research and resolution of payable discrepancies.
• Process adjustments to carrier pay.
• Answer incoming phone calls within the department call queue.
• Verification and mailing of carrier statements/checks.

Required Minimum Experience and Education:

• High School Diploma or GED
• 6 months of accounts payable experience

Preferred Experience and Education:

• 2 years of experience reviewing carrier statements
• 1 year of email customer service experience

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

• Knowledge of Accounts Payable computer systems.
• Accurate data entry skills, 88kpm.
• Excellent organizational skills.
• Above average analytical and math skills.
• Accuracy and attention to detail.
• Excellent customer service skills.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications, primarily Word, Excel, and Outlook.
• Ability to work in a fast paced, time sensitive environment.
