This opportunity is part-time at 24 hours per week, offers part-time benefits and a convenient day shift schedule. Wellington Regional Medical Center is located in Wellington, Florida. Job Requirements: Assumes responsibility and accountability for providing comprehensive evaluation and treatment of performance components affecting functioning and providing goal-oriented treatment to facilitate maximum level of independence to clients suffering from disability, disease or injury. The physical therapist organizes, conducts, and elevates medically prescribed physical therapy programs to restore function and prevent disability following disease, injury or loss of a body part; helps patient's reach his/her maximum performance and assume a place in society while learning to live within his/her capabilities. Consults and assessments/reassessments will be performed and documented within 24 hours of admission or when feasible once patient is medically stable. Direct and supervise physical therapist assistants, and students. Recognizes the signs and symptoms of stroke and calling a stroke alert overhead. Verbalizes stroke alert process. Maintains currency in stroke knowledge by completing the annual 4 hours online training. Stay updated on current best practices and advancements in pelvic health therapy.
