Lepley Recruiting Services is looking for a dynamic and results-driven sales consultant to join the outside sales team of a leading flooring supplier. In this role, you will be responsible for building and nurturing strong relationships with builders, remodelers and designers driving sales and fostering business growth. The ideal candidate thrives in face-to-face interactions, can confidently navigate client meetings, and has a proven ability to close deals successfully.

Key responsibilities include:

• Identify and engage potential clients through targeted outreach, follow-ups, social media, networking events, and referrals.
• Secure and negotiate sales deals to meet and exceed revenue goals.
• Maintain long-term client relationships, ensuring exceptional customer satisfaction and repeat business.
• Attend industry events, such as HBA council meetings, to expand professional connections.
• Acquire and submit floor plans for takeoff measurements.
• Deliver product samples and provide knowledgeable responses to client inquiries.
• Adapt to unplanned meetings and opportunities, demonstrating flexibility and initiative.

Compensation and benefits include:

• Salary and 6% commission on gross profit from each sale. No commission cap.

Qualifications include:

• Proven success in outside sales in the flooring or building materials industry, with a results-driven mindset.
• Existing builder, remodeling and designer relationships.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to engage clients effectively.
• Ability to work independently in the field while collaborating with the team when needed.
• Negotiation and closing skills to drive sales and maximize revenue.

Job type and work schedule:

• Full-time
• 8-hour shifts, Monday - Friday (no weekends)
• Work location: primarily on the road
