Receiving Coordinator

Warehouse PositionPay Rate: $21.00 an hourMonday - Friday 6:00am-2:00pmSummary: Receive and deliver products; and process returns, invoices, damaged goods and back orders for all material types. Responsible for a high level of guest service as described in your departments guest service standards.Essential Duties And ResponsibilitiesReceive and deliver shipments (except cash)Verify shipments received are the correct items, quantities, and costMaintain accurate inventory and rotate stock items by bin locationComplete computer transactions (i.e. sales orders, returns, UPS documents, etc.)Maintain an accurate log of inventory itemsMaintain warehouse equipment (i.e. forklift, dock leveler, pallet jacks, etc.)Coordinate incoming shipments, including special events (i.e. concerts and sales shows)Keep warehouse organized and cleanKnowledge And Certification, Skills And AbilitiesKnowledge and CertificationHigh School Diploma/GED or equivalent experiencePrevious experience in the safe use and operation of warehouse equipmentPreferred:Knowledge of food and beverage warehousing and safetyKnowledge of inventory control (i.e. First In First Out (FIFO) and Cycle Counts)Knowledge of receiving productsForklift CertificationSkillsAccurate and detail-orientedHighly organized and ability to adapt quickly to changing prioritiesStrong computer skills Microsoft Office (Word, Excel and Outlook) and WindowsProblem solving skillsProject management skillsWritten, verbal and interpersonal communication skillsStrong mechanical aptitudeAbove average math skillsProficiency in research using all available resourcesAbilitiesAbility to work fast and efficientlyAbility to follow established dress code policies and practice good personal hygieneAbility to interact with guests, coworkers and management in a professional and courteous mannerAbility to serve both internal and external customersAbility to speak in a clear, concise and pleasant voiceRequired TrainingTreasure Island guest service trainingTraining needed to obtain and maintain Forklift CertificationInventory control system applicationAny position-related training as determined by department managerPhysical DemandsMust be able to walk and / or stand or sit for long periods throughout the dayMust have a good sense of balance, and be able to bend and kneel and stoopMust be able to push, pull and grasp objects routinelyMust be able to reach and twist frequentlyMust have the ability to independently lift up to 50 pounds routinelyMust be able to perform repetitive hand and wrist motionsMust have good eye hand coordinationMust be able to operate foot pedalsWorking EnvironmentWork is performed in the Warehouse and throughout the property including the gaming floor, which has flashing lights, frequent loud noises and cigarette smoke; outdoors and extreme temperaturesMust be willing to work a flexible schedule including, weekends and holidaysComputer useOccasionally overtime may be requiredOccasionally must deal with angry or hostile individualsEqual Opportunity Employer This employer is required to notify all applicants of their rights pursuant to federal employment laws.
