Our client is a VC-backed SaaS company entering a major new phase of growth.

\n

\n

Thousands of customers. A validated product. A strong pipeline. Now, the CEO is hiring a Founding Account Executive to help build a scalable revenue engine.

\n

\n

You will work directly with the CEO, receive hands-on coaching and take responsibility for the full sales cycle. You will also help shape the sales playbook, go-to-market strategy and future commercial team.

\n

The numbers

\n

\n

$100K to $130K base salary

\n

$200K to $260K OTE with a 50/50 split

\n

Uncapped commission with accelerators

\n

Typical deal sizes of $20K to $150K ARR

\n

Expected sales cycles of three to six months

\n

Fully remote across the USA

\n

Meaningful early-stage equity

What you will be doing ️

\n

\n

Own the sales cycle from prospecting through negotiation and close

\n

Build relationships with senior and C-suite decision-makers

\n

Generate qualified pipeline through thoughtful outbound activity

\n

Run product demonstrations and communicate a compelling business case

\n

Partner directly with the CEO on positioning, pricing and deal strategy

\n

Turn successful customer wins into a repeatable sales playbook

\n

Share customer insights that influence the product roadmap

\n

Help create the foundations for a high-performing sales team

\n

\n

The academic profile

\n

\n

We are particularly interested in candidates with an outstanding academic record from a highly selective US university, including:

\n

\n

Princeton, MIT, Harvard, Stanford or Yale

\n

Caltech, Duke, Johns Hopkins, Northwestern or Penn

\n

Cornell, Chicago, Brown, Columbia or Dartmouth

\n

UCLA, UC Berkeley, Rice, Vanderbilt or Notre Dame

\n

Michigan, Georgetown, Carnegie Mellon, Washington University in St. Louis or Emory

\n

\n

Candidates from other universities with comparable academic achievement are strongly encouraged to apply.

\n

Evidence of academic excellence could include:

\n

\n

A GPA of 3.5 or higher

\n

Dean’s List, academic honours or competitive scholarships

\n

Research, publishing or advanced analytical coursework

\n

Leadership in student organisations, entrepreneurship or university societies

\n

Success in debate, case competitions, athletics or other competitive environments

\n

\n

What we are looking for

\n

\n

One to three years of experience in B2B SaaS sales, startup GTM or a similarly commercial environment

\n

At least 12 months in a quota-carrying role, or exceptional BDR performance with clear closing potential

\n

A track record of achieving at least 100% of quota or equivalent commercial targets

\n

Evidence that you can generate pipeline rather than depend entirely on inbound leads

\n

Strong written, verbal and presentation skills

\n

Confidence communicating with senior executives

\n

Intellectual curiosity and the ability to learn a technical product quickly

\n

A competitive, resilient and highly coachable mindset

\n
