Medical Assistant - OBGYN

Role: Medical Assistant at a primary care and urgent care network, supporting providers in patient examinations and treatments. Responsibilities Include Welcoming patients, preparing exam rooms, and obtaining medical histories. Documenting vital signs and updating electronic medical records accurately and timely. Assisting providers during exams, performing point-of-care tests, and maintaining supplies. Ensuring cleanliness and disinfection of treatment areas, maintaining safety standards. Providing excellent patient service, responding to messages, and supporting front office tasks when needed. Following HIPAA guidelines and participating in training and meetings. Qualifications High school diploma or GED; healthcare program graduate (Medical Assistant, CNA, LPN, EMT). Certified Medical Assistant preferred; current BLS card required. Strong computer skills, EMR experience preferred, and 1-3 years in family or pediatric care. Skills Empathy, active listening, attention to detail, teamwork, and professionalism.
