Key Responsibilities\n

As a Clinical Social Worker in our detox center, your day-to-day responsibilities will include:

• Conducting thorough psychosocial assessments for patients entering the detox program, identifying emotional, social, and environmental factors impacting their recovery.

• Offering supportive counseling throughout the patient's detox process, helping to alleviate distress for patients and their families during this critical time.

• Facilitating access to community resources and support systems to ensure patients and their families can find ongoing support post-treatment.

• Delivering crisis intervention and short-term counseling during moments of acute distress, utilizing evidence-based practices to foster resilience and coping strategies.

• Collaborating with medical professionals and other therapists to create and implement individualized treatment plans that address the unique needs of each patient.

Your primary focus will be on individuals undergoing detoxification, as well as their families. This population often faces various challenges, including emotional trauma and social isolation. Qualifications\n

• A Master’s degree in Social Work from an accredited institution.

• Active LCSW licensure in the state of California.
