LAN Logistics, Inc. is seeking a dependable Sales Account Manager to develop and manage customer relationships, grow existing accounts, and identify new business opportunities. This is a customer-facing role in a fast-paced logistics environment supporting port, warehouse, transportation, and export operations.

We’re looking for someone who takes pride in building strong customer relationships, understands the importance of follow-through, and is motivated to grow the business. The ideal candidate is organized, responsive, professional, and comfortable managing customer accounts while working closely with our operations team to ensure each shipment is handled correctly and efficiently.

Job Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain strong relationships with existing customers
• Manage assigned customer accounts and serve as a primary point of contact
• Identify opportunities to expand existing customer relationships and increase business
• Prospect for and develop new customer accounts and business opportunities
• Respond to customer inquiries and requests by phone and email in a professional and timely manner
• Prepare and present quotes for transportation, warehousing, loading/unloading, packaging, and other logistics services
• Follow up on quotes, projects, and opportunities to help convert business
• Work with operations to develop pricing and service solutions that meet customer requirements
• Coordinate with trucking companies, terminals, warehouses, and other service providers as needed
• Review customer shipment details, including cargo dimensions, weights, quantities, locations, and special handling requirements
• Communicate project requirements, pricing, and service details clearly to customers
• Monitor customer projects from initial inquiry through completion and maintain regular communication
• Identify and address customer concerns and work with internal teams to resolve issues
• Maintain accurate customer, sales, and shipment records
• Track account activity, quotes, and business opportunities
• Support the sales and operations team with other duties as needed

Qualifications

• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Proven ability to build and maintain customer relationships
• Strong sales, negotiation, and follow-up skills
• Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
• Ability to manage multiple customers, accounts, and projects simultaneously
• Comfortable working with numbers, measurements, pricing, and spreadsheets
• Proficient with Microsoft Office, Outlook, Excel, and general computer applications
• Ability to work independently while also collaborating with a team
• Logistics, trucking, freight forwarding, warehousing, or OOG/heavy cargo experience is a strong plus
• Previous sales or account management experience in the logistics or transportation industry is preferred
