Senior Director, US Brand Strategy & Launch - Mood Disorders

Neurocrine Biosciences seeks a Senior Director to lead U.S. commercialization strategy for an upcoming mood disorders product launch. The role encompasses brand positioning, HCP and patient marketing strategy, cross-functional launch execution, and long-term brand performance accountability in a high-profile CNS launch.
Responsibilities
- Own U.S. brand strategy defining positioning, segmentation, messaging, and performance metrics for differentiated launch
- Lead cross-functional brand planning aligning marketing, medical affairs, market access, sales, regulatory, and analytics
- Design and execute innovative pre-launch and launch programs for psychiatrists, community providers, patients, and caregivers
- Partner with commercial analytics to translate market insights and prescriber behavior into actionable strategies
- Build and maintain relationships with thought leaders, advocacy organizations, and external stakeholders to drive awareness
Requirements
- BS/BA in scientific or business discipline with 15+ years relevant experience, including 7+ years pharmaceutical marketing/sales
- Master's/MBA with 13+ years experience, or PhD with 10+ years and strong commercial leadership
- Proven track record leading U.S. brand strategy and launch execution in neuroscience or specialty therapeutics
- Deep understanding of HCP and patient dynamics in mental health treatment and access challenges
- Experience managing external agencies, creative teams, and omnichannel marketing strategies
- Demonstrated ability to influence senior leadership and operate effectively in matrixed organizations
- Strong executive presence, communication skills, and experience building high-performing teams
