You'll play a vital part in fostering a positive, inclusive, and encouraging learning atmosphere. Working side by side with teachers, your support will help empower students, making a tangible difference in their academic and social development.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist teachers with instruction, small-group activities, and individualized student support
- Provide academic, behavioral, and social-emotional assistance to students as needed
- Prepare classroom materials, organize engaging learning activities, and reinforce daily lesson plans
- Supervise students during transitions, lunchtime, recess, and other non-instructional periods
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to promote student success and growth
Required Qualifications:
- Completion of at least 48 college semester units OR an Associate's degree (AA/AS)
- Ability to pass background and fingerprint clearance requirements
- Strong communication skills, patience, and a commitment to student-centered support
