Qualifications & Experience:
- Previous experience as a paraprofessional or in an educational support role is preferred
- Comfortable working one-on-one or with small groups of students
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to assist with classroom management and reinforce lesson plans
- Patience, empathy, and enthusiasm for working with children
- High school diploma, with some college coursework in education or related fields a plus
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide instructional support under the guidance of classroom teachers
- Assist with the implementation of lesson materials and activities
- Offer individualized attention to students requiring additional support
- Help maintain an inclusive and positive classroom environment
- Support students with special needs in both academic and social settings
- Encourage student engagement and participation
- Observe and document student progress for educator review
- Collaborate with teachers and specialists to ensure consistent student support
