Job Description

Key Qualifications:

Valid certification or licensure as a School Psychologist
Previous experience in a school setting preferred
Skilled in psychological assessment and diagnostic testing
Strong understanding of behavioral intervention and modification strategies
Ability to conduct confidential individual and group therapy sessions
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills

Primary Responsibilities:

Provide comprehensive psychological assessments, including conducting testing and diagnostic examinations for students
Recommend targeted intervention plans to help students overcome challenges and maximize learning
Deliver individual and group counseling, supporting social, emotional, and behavioral development
Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams for student identification and placement, promoting proper support services
Implement and monitor behavior modification programs tailored to student needs
Maintain accurate records and prepare progress reports, ensuring compliance with all regulations
Communicate effectively with parents, teachers, and administrators regarding student progress and recommended strategies
