Key Responsibilities:

\n

\n
• Identify new sales opportunities and generate a continuous pipeline for conversion
\n
• Responsible in managing the full sales cycle process from lead generation to closing new business
\n
• Develop and harvest new leads through effective networking, cold calling, email campaigns and in-person meetings
\n
• Proficient in SPIN selling, effectively diagnosing investment parameters and gaps in the research process
\n
• Achieve assigned sales targets
\n
• Research and attend relevant industry conferences and expos to network and prospect potential data partners
\n
• Evaluate client results and competitive developments and provide suggestions for new products and services
\n

Skills & Qualifications:

\n

\n
• Extensive experience in financial markets with focus servicing institutional investors such as Hedge Funds & Asset Managers
\n
• Engages directly with Institutional Research Teams in their current role
\n
• Excels in an outside sales environment, prioritizing in-person interaction and entertainment
\n
• Proven ability to manage multiple client engagements simultaneously while maintaining attention to detail
\n
• Demonstrated prospecting and lead generation skills
\n
• Ability to quickly and effectively communicate a value proposition to a skeptical audience
\n
• Proven ability to think and act creatively utilizing data
\n
• Experience with building product and developing business plans a plus
\n
• 5+ years of proven sales experience with consistent track record of meeting or exceeding quotas
\n

Primary Location: New York, NY

\n

Compensation: $125,000 - $200,000 USD/Annual + uncapped commission with total OTE up to $350,000

\n

\n

The salary offered will take into consideration an individual’s experience level and qualifications.
