Key Responsibilities

• Conducting comprehensive evaluations of patients who have sustained injuries, undergone surgery, or are recovering from illness, ensuring accurate assessment of needs and treatment suitability.
• Formulating and implementing individualized treatment plans that incorporate various therapeutic techniques such as manual therapy, exercises, and innovative modalities aimed at enhancing mobility and relieving pain.
• Monitoring patient progress through meticulous documentation and tracking of treatments, responses, and outcomes, making adjustments to therapeutic goals as necessary.
• Educating patients, their families, and caregivers on self-care strategies, proper exercise techniques, and the effective use of assistive devices to facilitate better recovery.
• Collaborating with interdisciplinary team members to deliver comprehensive patient care and optimize overall therapeutic outcomes.
• Staying up-to-date with advances in physical therapy through continuous professional development, including attending workshops, reading relevant publications, and participating in professional organizations.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Our diverse patient population ranges from pediatric to geriatric clients, each presenting unique challenges and treatment needs. This role will involve working with patients recovering from orthopedic conditions, neurological disorders, post-surgical states, and chronic pain syndromes, allowing you to employ a wide array of therapeutic techniques tailored to each patient's circumstances.

Qualifications

• A Doctorate degree in Physical Therapy (DPT) is required.
• Possession of a valid physical therapy license in the state of New Jersey.
• Proficient verbal and written communication skills for effective patient interaction and documentation.
• Proficient in computer and word-processing skills for documentation and communication purposes.
• Adaptability and flexibility to meet varying patient needs and schedules.

Preferred Experience

Compensation and Benefits
