Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive evaluations of patients' mobility, strength, and functional challenges to develop individualized care plans tailored to their specific needs.
• Implement targeted therapeutic exercises that promote pain reduction, enhance movement capabilities, and aid in the overall rehabilitation process.
• Utilize advanced manual therapy techniques to facilitate pain relief and functional recovery during one-on-one sessions with patients.
• Continuously monitor and adjust treatment plans based on patient progress, ensuring that therapy goals align with patient recovery trajectories.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team—including physicians, occupational therapists, and rehabilitation aides—to ensure integrated and coordinated care for each patient.

Patient Population / Client Focus

In this role, you will primarily work with orthopedic patients recovering from injuries, surgeries, and chronic pain conditions. This includes, but is not limited to, post-operative rehabilitation, sports-related injuries, and conditions related to joint or muscular pain. You will play a key role in helping individuals at various life stages regain their functional independence and improve their quality of life.

Qualifications

• Master's or Doctorate degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program is required.
• Possess an active Physical Therapist license in the state of New Jersey.
• At least 2 years of clinical experience is preferred, although new graduates demonstrating strong potential are welcome to apply.
• Excellent manual therapy skills along with a strong understanding of rehabilitation methodologies.
• Familiarity with Electronic Medical Record (EMR) systems, specifically WebPT, to maintain accurate patient documentation and streamline workflows.
• Exceptional interpersonal skills that facilitate patient trust and promote a therapeutic alliance during treatment sessions.

Preferred Experience

While 2 years of clinical experience is preferred, we highly value the fresh perspectives that new graduates bring. Experience in outpatient orthopedic settings, familiarity with patient-curring documentation systems, and proficiency in evidence-based practice is beneficial and will enhance care delivery.

Compensation and Benefits

We offer a competitive annual salary ranging from $90,000 to $120,000, commensurate with experience. Our comprehensive benefits package includes health, dental, and vision coverage, a 401(k) retirement plan with employer matching contributions, and 2-3 weeks of paid time off (PTO) per year.
