Job Title: General Merchandise Clerk – Entry Level This entry-level team member position will be responsible for delivering remarkable customer service by providing customers with exceptional product knowledge, efficient service, and a friendly attitude. Responsibilities include: Build rapport with customers. Display friendly and outgoing attitude through good eye contact and body language. Help customers with any questions they may have. Direct them to other team members if unable to answer. Stock product and maintain displays according to merchandising standards. Utilize technology to complete activities and tasks. Collaborate with other team members and managers on additional tasks as needed. Strong listening and communication skills, face-to-face and virtually. Willingness to learn or existing familiarity with job-specific technology. Problem-solving competence and eagerness to troubleshoot when necessary. Process-driven and able to follow procedures efficiently. Ability to work well in a fast-paced environment. Physical ability to lift, carry, push, pull, bend, twist while handling product; stand for long periods.
