Head of Business Development

To build and lead the commercial engine as quantum computing transitions to enterprise value, the remote Head of Business Development will set the BD strategy, manage partnerships and revenue generation, and oversee the pipeline and strategic deal closures. Key responsibilities Set the BD strategy by defining target verticals, ideal customer profiles, and owning the annual BD plan and revenue targets Build and manage the pipeline, generating and qualifying opportunities through various channels with disciplined forecasting Lead end-to-end strategic deals, negotiating agreements and converting pilots into recurring revenue contracts Required qualifications 7+ years in enterprise business development or strategic partnerships in deep tech, HPC, or cloud sectors, with 3+ years in a leadership role Proven track record of building commercial traction from early-stage technologies, achieving significant ARR milestones Experience closing complex, high-value deals involving multiple stakeholders across various organizational levels Established network in Defense, enterprise R&D, cloud, HPC, or quantum industries Technical fluency in quantum computing or HPC, with the ability to discuss use cases and value propositions credibly
