Immigration Paralegal

An established, award-winning midsize law firm with a global client base is seeking a Business Immigration Paralegal with 3+ years of experience to support its high-volume Global Mobility Practice. This role provides comprehensive case management support for multinational corporations and foreign nationals navigating global business immigration matters. The paralegal will prepare visa and work permit applications, coordinate with clients, government agencies, and vendors, and maintain accurate case tracking and reporting. The ideal candidate is a detail-oriented professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment and demonstrates strong communication, analytical, and organizational skills. Key Responsibilities Prepare, draft, and coordinate global visa and work permit applications, supporting documentation, and eligibility-based immigration correspondence. Manage end-to-end case administration, including status tracking, INSZoom updates, consular submissions, courier requests, apostille processing, and vendor coordination. Serve as a point of contact for clients and stakeholders, handling consultations, intake forms, engagement letters, routine communications, and document requests. Support operational processes through invoice management, billing review, reporting, and maintenance of case status records. Conduct immigration and vendor research, assist with business development initiatives, and help expand the firm's global vendor network. Requirements & Experience 3+ years of U.S. business immigration and/or global mobility experience; exposure to international visa and work permit processes is a plus. Proven experience working directly with HR professionals and foreign nationals, gathering documentation and managing case expectations and timelines. Strong written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to draft professional client-facing correspondence and status updates. Knowledge of immigration laws, legal terminology, research techniques, and regulatory requirements affecting business immigration matters. Proficiency in Microsoft Office, strong analytical and organizational skills, and familiarity with law firm billing and accounting processes.
