Residential Maintenance Technician

Pay: $20-$24/hour (Based on Experience)

Schedule:

• Monday-Friday

• 7:00 AM - 4:00 PM

Job Duties

• Perform general apartment and building maintenance repairs.

• Repair plumbing issues, including clogged drains, pipes, and toilets.

• Replace windows, glass, screens, and other building components.

• Repair electrical fixtures such as switches and outlet covers.

• Repair and replace appliances, including refrigerators and ranges.

• Prepare vacant apartments for new tenants by painting, patching walls, replacing cabinets and countertops, and completing flooring repairs.

• Complete basic plumbing and electrical upgrades as needed.

Qualifications

• Experience in apartment maintenance, property maintenance, facilities maintenance, or a related trade.

• Knowledge of building maintenance tools, materials, and repair techniques.

• Basic to intermediate plumbing and electrical troubleshooting skills.

• Ability to work independently and manage daily maintenance tasks.

• Valid Pennsylvania Driver's License required.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Steelton, PA.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $23.00/hr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
