As a Armed Security Officer Residential Dedicated Patrol Driver in San Diego, CA , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Residential, and more. As an Armed Security Officer in a residential community, you will conduct routine vehicle patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, and respond professionally to security-related concerns. This driving post requires an armed guard card/license and a valid driver’s license. You will provide exceptional customer service and communication while supporting a caring culture built on teamwork, integrity, reliability, agility, and innovation.

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to residents, visitors, and property staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, access control, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, medical calls, and other critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner; notify appropriate personnel and prepare accurate reports.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols of residential buildings, common areas, parking areas, entrances, and perimeter locations to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify authorization as required, and provide directions or assistance in accordance with site procedures.
• Maintain a professional presence while observing and reporting unusual activity, property damage, policy violations, and maintenance concerns to designated personnel.

Minimum Requirements:

• An armed guard card or license is required.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
