Registered Nurse (RN) - PACUWe are seeking a dedicated and flexible Registered Nurse specializing in Post Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU). The ideal candidate will demonstrate the ability to adapt to varying schedules and stay committed to completing each shift due to the continuous nature of outpatient surgery.Job DetailsStart Date: ASAPSchedule: 3 shifts per week; 12-hour shifts (11:00 AM - 11:00 PM or 9:00 AM - 9:00 PM)Weekend Requirement: YesExperience Requirement: Minimum of 1 year in a similar roleCalifornia State License: Required; Pending licenses acceptedRTO Restrictions: Not more than 7 daysPosition ResponsibilitiesProvide high-quality nursing care in the PACU for outpatient surgical patients.Monitor and assess patient responses to anesthesia and surgical procedures.Provide education and support to patients and their families regarding the recovery process.Collaborate with the surgical team and communicate effectively regarding patient status and care needs.Be prepared to adapt to varying start times depending on the assigned area for the day.QualificationsRegistered Nurse with a valid CA state license.Minimum of 1 year of experience in PACU or a similar clinical setting.Strong critical thinking skills and the ability to make decisive actions regarding patient care.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.About the FacilityThis is an acute care facility that prioritizes patient-centered care and employs a professional team dedicated to delivering the highest standards in surgical nursing.
