Our client is expanding across Northern California and is seeking an Outside Sales Representative based in the San Francisco Bay Area. This role offers the opportunity to work directly with homeowners following property damage events such as fire, water, or severe storms, helping guide them through the insurance claims process and providing trusted support during a critical time.

In this role, you will meet with homeowners during critical moments, guide them through the insurance claims process, and help them make informed decisions about their next steps. This is a relationship-driven, consultative sales role that requires strong communication skills, empathy, and confidence in face-to-face interactions.

The firm exclusively represents policyholders, advocating on their behalf to help ensure fair insurance settlements. Known for its expertise and integrity, the organization is continuing to expand its presence across Northern California and the Pacific Northwest.

About the Role:

The Outside Sales Professional is a field-based role where you will spend the majority of your time meeting with property owners navigating significant damage to their homes or buildings. You will guide them through their options and help determine whether professional representation would benefit them during the insurance claims process.

You do not need prior insurance experience. Our client provides structured training and strong operational support so you can focus on building relationships and driving new business.

Candidates with backgrounds in construction, restoration, remediation, roofing, home services, or other relationship-driven outside sales roles tend to be highly successful in this position.

What You’ll Do:

• Travel locally within the Bay Area to assigned properties
• Meet with homeowners following property damage and assess their needs
• Clearly explain the insurance claims process in simple, easy-to-understand terms
• Educate property owners on the value of professional representation
• Build trust quickly through empathy, professionalism, and strong communication
• Lead consultative conversations that result in signed client agreements
• Partner with internal estimators, adjusters, and claims teams
• Compete effectively in the field against contractors and other providers
• Transition signed clients to the internal team and continue building your pipeline

• Proven success in outside sales, field sales, or relationship driven sales roles
• Backgrounds that often translate well into this role include:
  • Construction, restoration, or remediation
  • Roofing or home services sales
  • Insurance related sales
  • Military or veterans transitioning into sales careers
• Ability to work independently and manage your own schedule
• Strong communication skills and emotional intelligence
• Resilient, competitive, and self motivated
• Willingness to travel locally and regionally within Northern California

Compensation and Earning Potential:

 

• This is a performance driven role with significant income upside.
• 90 days of paid onboarding and training to set you up for success
• Ongoing guaranteed compensation floor of approximately 12,000 to 15,000 per month as commissions ramp
• Year 1 on target earnings typically range from 120,000 to 180,000
• Year 2 earnings for consistent performers often exceed 250,000
• Top producers can earn 400,000 or more annually
• The company provides structured onboarding, daily leads, and full backend support so you can focus on building relationships and closing new opportunities.
