Cook Job Description – Rokka Grill & Whiskey Bar Rokka Grill & Whiskey Bar is looking for a dedicated Cook to join our kitchen team. This position is responsible for preparing high-quality meals that meet Rokka’s recipes, presentation standards, and food safety requirements. The ideal candidate is dependable, organized, and able to work in a fast‑paced restaurant environment while maintaining quality, cleanliness, and consistency. You should be comfortable following recipes, managing multiple orders, keeping your station clean, and supporting the kitchen team during service. Cook Responsibilities Prepare and assemble ingredients for menu items Cook and plate food according to Rokka recipes and presentation standards Follow proper food handling, storage, and temperature guidelines Maintain clean, organized, and sanitary workstations Ensure cooking tools, equipment, and prep areas are cleaned and sanitized Assist other cooks and kitchen team members as needed Help complete food orders accurately and in a timely manner Follow all food health and safety regulations Communicate effectively with kitchen staff and management Support a positive, team‑focused kitchen environment Cook Requirements Previous cook or kitchen experience preferred Knowledge of basic cooking methods and techniques Ability to follow recipes and instructions ServSafe or food handler certification preferred Ability to work in a fast‑paced environment Strong teamwork and communication skills Ability to stand for extended periods of time Dependable, organized, and detail‑oriented High school diploma or GED preferred #J-18808-Ljbffr Rokka Grill & Whiskey Bar
