Job Overview:
The Financial Crimes Specialist 3 will play a critical role in identifying, investigating, and mitigating financial crimes. This position requires a detail-oriented professional with a strong understanding of financial regulations and the ability to analyze complex data to detect fraudulent activities. The ideal candidate will work collaboratively with internal teams and external stakeholders to ensure compliance and protect the organization from financial risks.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct thorough investigations into potential financial crimes, including fraud, money laundering, and other suspicious activities.
• Analyze financial data and transaction patterns to identify irregularities and potential risks.
• Prepare detailed reports and documentation of findings for internal and external stakeholders.
• Collaborate with compliance, legal, and risk management teams to ensure adherence to regulatory requirements.
• Assist in the development and implementation of policies and procedures to prevent financial crimes.
• Stay updated on industry trends, regulations, and best practices related to financial crimes.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, criminal justice, or a related field.
• Proven experience in financial crimes investigation, compliance, or a related area.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Knowledge of financial regulations and anti-money laundering (AML) laws.
• Proficiency in using investigative tools and software.

Pay Range: $50 - $53/hr.
