Job Overview:
The Financial Crimes Officer will play a critical role in ensuring compliance with financial crime regulations and mitigating risks associated with financial crimes. This position involves developing, implementing, and maintaining policies and procedures to detect and prevent financial crimes, as well as collaborating with internal and external stakeholders to ensure adherence to regulatory requirements.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement strategies to identify, assess, and mitigate financial crime risks.
• Ensure compliance with all applicable laws, regulations, and internal policies related to financial crimes.
• Conduct investigations into potential financial crimes and prepare detailed reports of findings.
• Collaborate with internal teams to enhance monitoring systems and controls.
• Provide training and guidance to staff on financial crime prevention and compliance.
• Stay updated on changes in financial crime regulations and industry best practices.
• Work with external regulatory bodies and auditors as needed.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in finance, business, law, or a related field.
• Extensive experience in financial crime compliance, risk management, or a related area.
• Strong knowledge of financial crime regulations and industry standards.
• Excellent analytical and investigative skills.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
• Relevant certifications such as CAMS (Certified Anti-Money Laundering Specialist) are a plus.

Pay Range: $63 - $65

The specific compensation for this position will be determined by several factors, including the scope, complexity, and location of the role, as well as the cost of labor in the market; the skills, education, training, credentials, and experience of the candidate; and other conditions of employment.
