Accounts Receivable SpecialistBerryDunn is currently seeking a qualified Accounts Receivable Specialist who will closely partner with our Manager of Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable. This pivotal role involves comprehensive oversight of the end-to-end A/R process, encompassing billing, collection, and fostering streamlined reporting, analysis, and issue resolution. Notably, the position will entail frequent engagement with Principals and clients, with a focus on minimizing days sales outstanding and enhancing cash flow dynamics. This position will be based in our Portland, ME headquarters.Travel Expectations: This role requires minimal travel, less than 10% per year.You WillProcess daily check, electronic, and credit cards paymentsDeposit check payments to bankPrepare, review, and distribute monthly A/R reportsGenerate and distribute monthly A/R statementsMonitor overdue accounts, and work closely with Principals and clients on effective issue resolutionProvide banking details and complete EFT/ACH setup forms requested by clientsProcess credit card transactions submitted by clients through Authorize.netAssisting all staff with billing issuesMaintain the Internal Accounting and Accounts Receivable mailboxesCompile and submit monthly A/R Journal EntryBalance cash receipts monthlyCalculate and post monthly finance chargesComplete financial analysis and special projects, as requiredOther tasks as determined by Manager of Accounts Payable and Accounts ReceivableYou Have3 - 5 years of experience of accounts receivable and/or bookkeeping experience, preferably in a professional services environmentStrong verbal, written and interpersonal skillsStrongly proficient with Microsoft Excel and Word, and very comfortable with new applications, time and billing systems for professional services and financial systemsAble to handle multiple demands and meet deadlinesAbility to work in the office, 5 days per weekCompensation DetailsThe hourly rate for this role is $28.00-$30.00 per hour. This rate range represents BerryDunn's good faith and reasonable estimate of the possible compensation at the time of posting.
