Key Responsibilities\n

As a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist, your responsibilities will include:

• Conducting comprehensive assessments of clients to formulate treatment plans tailored to their unique needs.
\n
• Providing both individual and couples therapy sessions, facilitating open communication to strengthen relationships.
\n
• Specializing in family-oriented therapy addressing issues such as alcohol abuse, grief and loss, conflicts among family members, job stress, and adjustment to separation and divorce.

• Using evidence-based therapeutic approaches to promote healing and foster communication skills among family members.
\n
• Documenting progress and outcomes in compliance with organizational policies and healthcare regulations.
\n
• Collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to coordinate care and share insights regarding patients' health and well-being.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

You will have the opportunity to work closely with diverse populations, including adults and children/adolescents, facilitating therapy for a variety of issues, such as:

• Alcohol and substance abuse challenges.

• Effects of physical and psychological abuse.

• Grief and loss processing.
\n
• Interpersonal conflicts among family members.

Qualifications\n

The ideal candidate will possess the following qualifications:

• Currently licensed as a Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) with an active state license.

• A Master's degree in Marriage and Family Therapy or a closely related field.

• At least 2 years of relevant experience in clinical practice, with a focus on family therapy.

Preferred Experience\n

While a minimum of 2 years of experience is required, candidates with additional experience in diverse therapeutic settings, particularly within community health environments, will be preferred. Familiarity with teletherapy platforms and good technological proficiency will be advantageous.
