Accounts Payable Specialist

Looking to start your career in Accounting or Finance? We are hiring for an Accounts Payable Specialist with a well-known Kansas City company that offers excellent training, career growth, and the opportunity to work hybrid after 3-6 months in the role.

What We're Looking For
  • Bachelor's or Associate's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or a related field OR Relevant internship experience OR Experience with invoicing, accounts payable, accounts receivable, billing, or data entry
  • Strong attention to detail and basic Excel skills
  • Eagerness to learn and grow within a corporate environment
Responsibilities
  • Process and review vendor invoices
  • Research and resolve invoice discrepancies
  • Maintain accurate records and documentation
  • Work with vendors and internal teams to ensure timely payments
  • Utilize accounting systems and Excel to manage financial data

Job Type & Location: This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Kansas City, KS.

Pay and Benefits: The pay range for this position is $19.50 - $19.50/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment. Benefits are subject to change and may be subject to specific elections, plan, or program terms.
