Description

• Conduct thorough evaluations for pediatric, adult, and geriatric demographics through standardized tests and observational analyses.
• Create individualized treatment strategies that cater to immediate needs and support long-term speech, cognitive, or swallowing goals.
• Deliver personalized speech therapy interventions focusing on areas such as communication, language, fluency, voice, and swallowing.
• Partner with physical therapists, occupational therapists, nurses, physicians, caregivers, and families to devise comprehensive care plans.
• Educate patients and their families to reinforce progress beyond therapy sessions.
• Engage in occasional inpatient speech therapy evaluations and interventions to maintain seamless care throughout the recovery process.
• Document clinical records promptly and accurately according to state, federal, and organizational standards.
• Embrace ongoing professional development through continuing education and collaboration with peers.

Education

• A Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited institution.
• Successful completion of a supervised Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) if not yet certified by ASHA.

Certifications

• State license to practice as a Speech Language Pathologist .
• Preferred: Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) from ASHA.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required within 30 days of starting employment.
