Job Details:

• Provide comprehensive outpatient primary care services within a collaborative, multidisciplinary medical group environment
• Independently perform medical acts in accordance with APRN licensure standards
• Deliver comprehensive nursing and medical care to individuals, families, and groups
• Focus on health promotion, disease prevention, and overall patient wellness
• Provide leadership and consultation within the care team
• Collaborate with patients, families, nurses, physicians, and other healthcare professionals to optimize patient outcomes
• Identify and address specialized teaching and learning needs of patients and families
• Provide education to support informed healthcare decision-making
• Maintain a safe and efficient clinical environment for patients and staff
• Support daily practice operations in a cost-effective manner
• Participate in ongoing professional development and continuing education
• Master's Degree from an accredited Adult Nurse Practitioner program required
• Current Vermont APRN License (or ability to obtain) required
• Certification as Adult, Family, or Pediatric NP (national organization recognized by VT Board of Nursing) highly preferred
• Healthcare Provider CPR Certification required
• DEA License required
• Minimum of one year of experience required; two years of nursing experience prior to advanced degree highly preferred
• Clean malpractice history required
• Full-time position (1.0 FTE, 40 hours/week)
• On-call rotation: 1:11 (specific hours not stated)
• Not open to candidates who commute more than 1 hour
• Not accepting visa candidates
