Work Environment

This Full-Time Physical Therapist position is primarily home-based, allowing you to provide personalized care directly to patients in their residences. Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive evaluations of patients to formulate individualized treatment plans based on referrals from physicians.
• Implement evidence-based therapeutic interventions tailored to diverse patient needs, focusing on orthopedic, pediatric, neurologic, and sports-specific conditions.
• Educate and train patients and their caregivers on exercises and mobility techniques to enhance recovery.
• Demonstrate exceptional customer service while building meaningful relationships with patients to foster motivation and engagement in their treatment plans.
• Utilize advanced therapeutic modalities and rehabilitation techniques to achieve specific functional goals aligned with each patient's care plan.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive care and improved patient outcomes.
• Meet or exceed minimum utilization goals and contribute to the overall effectiveness of the practice.

Patient Population / Client Focus

In this role, you will treat a diverse array of patients facing challenges such as post-operative rehabilitation, chronic pain management, and sports-related injuries. Our patient population includes individuals from various backgrounds, ages, and physical ability levels, allowing for a rich and rewarding clinical experience. Your understanding of the unique needs of different demographics will be vital to providing effective and empathetic care.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an APTA or CAPTE-accredited physical therapy program.
• Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy, with a preference for candidates holding a Doctorate of Physical Therapy (DPT).
• State licensure as a Physical Therapist, with ongoing compliance in continuing education.
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association.
• Excellent communication skills and proficiency in using digital tools for documentation and patient management.
• Ability to establish strong, trusting relationships with patients and their families.

Preferred Experience

• At least two years of clinical experience in a similar setting, focusing on home health or outpatient physical therapy.
• Strong background in evidence-based practice and familiarity with therapeutic technologies and modalities.
• Experience in managing a diverse caseload across different specialties, including pediatrics and geriatrics.

Compensation and Benefits

Texoma Care Physical Therapy offers a competitive salary ranging from $100,000 to $120,000 annually, based on experience and qualifications.
