Bookkeeper

Job Description Insight Global is seeking a Bookkeeper to support the accounting team of a growing transportation and logistics company in Lombard, IL. This individual will assist with high-volume bookkeeping and accounting support functions while helping the team manage workload during a transitional period. The ideal candidate has strong attention to detail, experience working with financial systems, and the ability to independently manage large volumes of transactions and documentation. Responsibilities Review and validate financial transactions for accuracy and completeness Ensure supporting documentation is received, organized, and properly attached within accounting systems Investigate discrepancies between operating systems and NetSuite Review employee expenses and verify proper coding, approvals, and supporting documentation Follow up with branch offices and employees regarding missing receipts, invoices, and expense documentation Perform data integrity audits across multiple financial systems Assist with month-end close activities and transaction reconciliation Support accounting processes related to vendor payments, expenses, and operational transactions Monitor and maintain accurate financial records within NetSuite and other internal systems Work closely with senior accounting staff to help alleviate high-volume transactional work Pay: $22-$27/hr We are a company committed to creating diverse and inclusive environments where people can bring their full, authentic selves to work every day.
