Description

• Conduct thorough evaluations for diverse age groups — pediatric, adult, and geriatric — employing standardized assessments and keen observational skills.
• Design and implement individualized treatment strategies that cater to both immediate and future speech, cognitive, or swallowing objectives.
• Deliver targeted speech therapy sessions, aimed at enhancing communication, language, fluency, voice, and swallowing capabilities.
• Engage collaboratively with physical and occupational therapists, medical professionals, and families to formulate seamless care strategies for your patients.
• Educate patients and their families, empowering them to sustain progress in their everyday lives beyond the therapy session.
• Occasionally, contribute to inpatient speech therapy assessments, ensuring a comprehensive approach to patient care throughout the recovery journey.
• Maintain precise and timely documentation in compliance with relevant regulatory standards.
• Commit to ongoing professional growth through continued education and peer collaboration.

Education

• Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited institution.
• Successful completion of a supervised Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY), pending ASHA certification.

Certifications

• Current state licensure as a Speech Language Therapist.
• Preference for the Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) from ASHA.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification acquired within 30 days of hiring.
