Work Environment

Our rehabilitation center boasts a spacious and well-designed layout, spanning 5,000 square feet, which accommodates various therapeutic activities. Our team comprises a diverse group of healthcare professionals, including two experienced physical therapists and one physical therapy assistant (PTA), all committed to delivering exceptional care. This onsite role encourages teamwork and collaboration, as you will often engage with fellow therapists and healthcare providers to ensure comprehensive patient support.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough assessments to identify individual patient goals and treatment needs.
• Define and implement personalized treatment plans tailored to each patient's specific orthopedic conditions.
• Manage a productive caseload of one patient per hour, maximizing the effectiveness of each session.
• Utilize various treatment techniques to improve patients' range of motion, strength, and mobility while minimizing the reliance on medications and invasive procedures.
• Engage in hands-on treatment sessions employing advanced manual therapy techniques.
• Document all patient interactions and treatment provided in adherence to regulatory standards, ensuring clear communication within the healthcare team.
• Evaluate and adjust therapy strategies based on patient progress and feedback, enhancing care outcomes.
• Motive patients by developing tailored fitness and wellness programs that promote a healthy lifestyle and self-sufficiency.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Our center predominantly serves patients with orthopedic conditions, primarily covered by private medical insurance. Our diverse patient population ranges from athletes recovering from injuries to older adults seeking rehabilitation after surgeries. You will play an essential role in tailoring therapeutic approaches suited to the varying capabilities and goals of each patient, ensuring that they achieve the best possible outcomes.

Qualifications

• A Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) from an accredited institution.
• A valid Florida state license to practice as a Physical Therapist.
• A clean professional record without any history of disciplinary actions.
• Proven expertise in manual therapy and rehabilitation techniques.
• Strong background in developing and implementing exercise protocols specific to orthopedic care.
• Familiarity with electronic medical record systems, such as WebPT, is advantageous.

Preferred Experience

• Prior experience in an orthopedic outpatient setting is highly desirable.
• Demonstrated success in managing a diverse caseload with varying degrees of injury severity.
• Experience in patient education concerning wellness and injury prevention strategies.
• Effective communication skills that foster patient trust and promote best practices in rehabilitation.

Compensation and Benefits

This full-time position offers a competitive salary ranging from USD 80,000 to 100,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
