Open Play Physical Therapy is seeking a dedicated and skilled full-time Physical Therapist (PT) to join our dynamic team at our rehabilitation facility in Winter Haven, Florida. We proudly serve a wide range of patients, predominantly those insured by private medical plans, while utilizing our state-of-the-art 5,000 square foot sports medicine facility designed for optimal healing and rehabilitation. Our team comprises two dedicated physical therapists and a physical therapy assistant (PTA) united by a shared vision of enhancing the quality of life for our patients.

Work Environment

This position is on-site, offering a collaborative and energetic work environment where you will interact closely with fellow healthcare professionals. Our facility is equipped with modern therapy equipment and resources that foster an atmosphere conducive to effective rehabilitation. The work schedule is Monday through Friday from 9 AM to 5 PM, allowing for work-life balance while actively contributing to patient care.

Key Responsibilities

• Assess and identify each patient's individual goals and treatment needs through comprehensive evaluations.
• Manage a caseload efficiently, seeing one patient per hour while ensuring that each receives your full attention and the highest standard of care.
• Utilize manual therapy techniques to enhance mobility and relieve pain tailored to each patient's condition.
• Develop and implement personalized care plans that incorporate diverse treatment modalities aimed at improving range of motion, strength, and overall physical health.
• Deliver cost-effective treatments that aim to minimize reliance on medications and alternatives to surgical interventions.
• Monitor and document patient progress meticulously to evaluate treatment outcomes and adjust care plans as necessary.
• Engage and motivate patients throughout their therapeutic journey, fostering an environment of encouragement and support.
• Collaborate with other healthcare providers for a holistic approach to patient care, ensuring all treatment aspects are addressed.
• Document all patient care services in accordance with facility protocols, maintaining clear and accurate records.

Patient Population / Client Focus

You will primarily work with individuals seeking orthopedic rehabilitation services, addressing diverse conditions ranging from postoperative recovery to sports injuries. Our patient demographic includes active adults and athletes, allowing you to apply your expertise and passion for physical therapy in an engaging and rewarding setting.

Qualifications

• Completion of a Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) is mandatory.
• Possession of a valid Florida state license as a Physical Therapist.
• A clean professional record with no disciplinary actions or board violations.
• Demonstrated proficiency in manual therapy techniques and exercise protocol development.
• Experience using electronic medical record (EMR) systems, particularly WebPT, for efficient patient documentation.

Preferred Experience

A minimum of two years of relevant experience in orthopedic outpatient settings is preferred. Experience should demonstrate a proven ability to develop and deliver effective treatment plans and engage effectively with patients.

Compensation and Benefits
