Work Environment

You will be working onsite at our dedicated rehabilitation center in Winter Haven, known for its warm and welcoming atmosphere. Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive evaluations of patients referred by physicians to develop individualized treatment plans.
• Implement effective intervention strategies tailored to address each patient's unique needs, ensuring effective monitoring of progress.
• Utilize evidence-based practices to treat a variety of clinical conditions, including but not limited to orthopedic, pediatric, neurologic, and sports medicine cases.
• Provide exceptional customer service, fostering strong relationships with patients while contributing to the overall effectiveness of the rehabilitation team.
• Educate patients and their caregivers about their conditions, treatment plans, and home exercise programs to facilitate ongoing recovery.
• Meet and strive to exceed minimum utilization goals in conjunction with broader business objectives.

Patient Population / Client Focus

This role is centered around providing care to a diverse patient population, including children, athletes, and individuals recovering from surgery or chronic conditions. You will be integral in helping patients regain functionality and achieve their specific health goals, contributing significantly to their rehabilitation journey.

Qualifications

• A Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program, preferably APTA or CAPTE-approved.
• Current state license to practice physical therapy in Florida.
• Basic Life Support Certification from the American Heart Association, ensuring readiness for any emergency situation.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills for effective patient interaction and documentation.
• Proficiency in computer skills and experience with electronic health record systems.
• A passion for community engagement and establishing lasting relationships with patients and their families.

Preferred Experience

• At least 2 years of professional experience in a physical therapy setting, showcasing a strong background in diverse clinical specialties.
