With advanced clinical trials in patients with hypercortisolism, solid tumors, ALS and liver disease, Corcept is unlocking the power of cortisol modulation to help address some of the most devastating diseases patients face today.Corcept is headquartered in Redwood City, California.The Director of Human Resources (HR) is responsible for providing HR support to Corcept leadership and all employees with a focus on Research and Development. Responsibilities include strategic organization design, change management, employee relations, supporting Corcept's learning and development initiatives, and a broad spectrum of HR responsibilities to support the growing business. This role will have opportunities to be involved in compensation, HRIS improvements and other HR focus areas.Responsibilities:Corcept's HRBP support model includes the role traditionally done by HRBP as well as other HR specialized functions to support Executive Team members and their teamsWork with Sr Director on executing Corcept's Learning and Development plan including design, delivery and assessmentEnsure employee population is aware of and participating in HR initiatives including but not limited to the company's performance management processRecommend, develop and implement Human Resources policies and ensure compliance with all U.S. EEO, employment, benefits, and wage-hour lawsFacilitate conflict resolution and handle employee relations as well as termination issuesPreferred Skills, Qualifications and Technical Proficiencies:Exceptional interpersonal skills, including: listening, coaching, & trainingStrong leadership, project management & time management skillsAbility to develop strong relationships and work with senior level executivesExcellent written, verbal, and non-verbal communication skillsWord, Excel, and PowerPointPreferred Education and Experience:BA or higherMinimum 10 years Human Resources management experienceExperience developing, implementing and administering HR programs in an HRBP role or as part of an HR specializationDemonstrated pharmaceutical industry experience with a comprehensive understanding of drug development and the clinical trial lifecycleThe pay range that the Company reasonably expects to pay for this headquarters-based position is $238,900-$281,100; the pay ultimately offered may vary based on legitimate considerations, including geographic location, job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and education.Applicants must be currently authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis.Corcept appreciates the commitment and hard work of all our team members as we strive to discover and develop novel treatments for patients with serious unmet medical needs.Corcept is an Equal Opportunity EmployerCorcept will not conduct interviews via text message or messaging platforms and will not ask you to download anything as part of your interview.
