Accounts Receivable Clerk

Job Description We are seeking an Accounts Receivable Clerk to join our team in Cypress, California. In this role, you will be responsible for handling a wide range of tasks related to customer payments, account reconciliation, and financial reporting. This position is within the industry and offers an exciting opportunity for the right candidate. Responsibilities Record customer payments including checks, ACH, wires, and credit card transactions. Reconcile payments and apply proper accounting codes to deductions. Handle refunds and issue credits for returns. Prepare and post journal entries to the general ledger. Assist in the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and reports. Reconcile and process monthly bank statements. Manage collections of overdue invoices. Conduct variance analysis and investigate discrepancies to ensure accuracy in financial reporting. Calculate, reconcile, and adjust sales tax collections. Process and record related inventory transactions. Support month-end and year-end closing processes, including journal entries and account reconciliations. Provide backup support for sales order processing when needed. Qualifications Proficiency in account reconciliation. Experience in accounts receivable (AR). Knowledge of billing procedures. Familiarity with cash applications. Experience in cash collections. Understanding of commercial collections. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel. Experience with Oracle software. Knowledge of QuickBooks software. Familiarity with SAP software. #J-18808-Ljbffr
