Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive assessments to evaluate clients’ mood disorder symptoms, focusing on severity, frequency, and duration to inform treatment planning.

• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans in collaboration with clients, ensuring their goals and preferences are central to the therapeutic process.

• Utilize evidence-based therapeutic interventions, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), to address clients' specific needs and empower them in their recovery journey.

• Educate clients and their families about mood disorders, outlining treatment options and self-care strategies to foster understanding and support.

• Regularly monitor client progress throughout therapy, adjusting treatment plans as needed based on evolving needs and outcomes.

• Collaborate closely with psychiatrists and other mental health professionals to ensure that all aspects of client care are integrated and comprehensive.

• Stay informed about the latest research and best practices in treating mood disorders to enhance your clinical skills and therapeutic effectiveness.

• Maintain thorough and confidential documentation of all client interactions, assessments, and treatment plans in compliance with state regulations.

Qualifications\n

• Minimum education requirement: Bachelor’s Degree in psychology, social work, or a related field.

• Current and valid licensure as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC), Doctor of Psychology (PsyD), or Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) in California.

• Experience with evidence-based treatment methods for mood disorders, including CBT and DBT.

• Understanding of psychopharmacology principles and the capacity to work effectively alongside psychiatrists and other medical professionals.

• Demonstrated ability to facilitate successful client outcomes in mental health treatment.

• Strong interpersonal skills with an aptitude for establishing rapport with clients from diverse backgrounds.

• Experience working in an outpatient community health clinic setting.

Compensation and Benefits\n

The salary for this position ranges from $90,000 to $105,000 annually, commensurate with education and experience.
