Key Responsibilities\n

In your capacity as an LMFT, your primary responsibilities will include:

• Conducting thorough assessments of couples and families to identify underlying issues affecting their dynamics.

• Facilitating individual and couples therapy sessions focused on relationship enhancement, conflict resolution, and emotional healing.

• Developing tailored treatment plans that address specific family concerns, including grief, communication challenges, and blended family dynamics.

• Utilizing evidence-based therapeutic techniques to effectively manage and resolve issues related to job stress, medical concerns, and psychological trauma.

• Documenting client progress and outcomes, and adjusting treatment strategies as necessary to ensure therapeutic goals are met.

• Collaborating with other healthcare professionals within our community health clinic to coordinate care and promote comprehensive well-being.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

You will work with a diverse range of clients, including couples, children, adolescents, and families facing a variety of mental health challenges. Your focus will encompass family dynamics, relationship issues, conflicts, and transitions, such as separation and divorce. Understanding unique client situations will be critical to promoting their overall well-being, and you will play a vital role in supporting clients as they navigate their personal journeys.

Qualifications\n

• A current, valid state license as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) is required.

• A master’s degree in Marriage and Family Therapy or a related discipline.
\n
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to establish a secure and trusting relationship with clients.

• A demonstrated capacity for empathy, with a nonjudgmental attitude towards the challenges clients face.

• Strong organizational and time-management skills to effectively manage caseloads and administrative duties.

Preferred Experience\n

• Experience in addressing issues such as alcohol abuse, job stress, grief and loss, and physical or psychological abuse.

• Demonstrated ability to work with diverse family structures, including blended families and families in transition.

• Familiarity with telehealth services and virtual therapy methodologies.

Compensation and Benefits\n
