Accounts Payable Specialist

Kforce has a client that is seeking an Accounts Payable Specialist in Bethesda, MD.Responsibilities:
- Accounts Payable Specialist will process and code invoices accurately and efficiently
- Perform 3-way matching and resolve invoice discrepancies
- Prepare and process vendor payments and check runs
- Maintain vendor records and respond to vendor inquiries
- As an Accounts Payable Specialist, you will reconcile AP accounts and assist with month-end close
- Support manual AP processes, including data entry, invoice tracking, and filing
- Assist with other accounting and administrative duties as needed
- 3+ years of Accounts Payable or related accounting experience
- Experience with ERP/accounting systems and Microsoft Excel
- Familiarity with manual AP processes in addition to automated systems
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines

Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
